Print Your Personal QR Code on a Pillow
At GlobalWeave we’re all about personalization. With this next venture we’re integrating personalization & geek chic - allowing you to print your personal QR code on a pillow.
What is a QR code?
QR codes are like barcodes, except it is easy to create and can be read by anyone with a smartphone. As a creator, you can put your personal message in the code. It can be any text, a URL, and more. When someone scans the code, using an app such as AT&TScanner, it reveals the message. Click here for more information on QR codes.
How does it work?
1. Order the QR pillow here.
2. Email us your personal QR code. (Please respond to your order confirmation email to send us your QR code.)
3. That’s it (from your side). We’ll print your code on our medium weight cotton cloth, and fabricate your pillow. Wait about 3-4 weeks for your pillow to arrive.
How do I create my personal QR code?
There are a few sites that will allow you to create your personal QR code. We’ve used QR Stuff (http://www.qrstuff.com/). In order to get a required hi-res QR code (see below for specs), you’ll need to purchase a day pass priced at $3.95.
QR Specifications:
Your code must be 3000 pixels wide and high, a 300 dpi resolution, and submitted as a .png file.
How do I read a QR code?
To read a QR code you’ll need an app like AT&TScanner.
